Sabato pomeriggio autunnale: molto spesso sinonimo di mostra o museo.
Così è andata anche durante il mio scorso weekend a Roma.
Una passeggiata in centro, un pranzo leggero dal nuovo Biolosophy, un gelato da CamBIO Vita e poi via con la visita dell nuova mostra allestita al Chiostro del Bramante: LOVE. L’arte contemporanea incontra l’amore.
Che devo dirvi? Mi è piaciuta tantissimo,
E vi consiglio di seguire il mio esempio e non perdervela. Per almeno 4 motivi.

- Le opere esposte sono di per sè tutte molto belle, impattanti anche solo al primo sguardo. A partire dal gigantesto LOVE azzurro di Robert Indiana nel chiostro centrale e poi passeggiando per i corridoi tra le opere di Wesselmann, Warhol, Quinn, Vasconcelos e Kusama (solo per citare alcuni nomi presenti), non potrete che restarne colpiti piacevolmente.
- Il filo conduttore è l’amore, inutile specificarlo. E chi, romantico o cinico che sia, non ha una sua opinione dell’amore?! Qui ne vedrete espresse a decine, perché ogni opera rappresenta l’amore da una diversa angolazione e si presta poi, a sua volta, a diverse interpretazioni, a seconda di quella che è la vostra attitudine nei confronti dell’argomento. Stimoli di riflessione introspettiva o confronto con chi vi accompagna.
- Avviso per tutti i social addicted come me: si possono scattare foto all’interno, anzi è il personale stesso ad incentivarti a farlo per poi condividere immagini e video sull’etere con l’hashtag #chiostrolove (io ho preso alla lettera l’indicazione ed infatti probabilmente avrete già avuto più che un’anticipazione della mia visita dalle mie Instagram stories). E niente paura di consumare i giga del vostro abbonamento: tutto il Chiostro del Bramante è coperto con rete wifi aperta a tutti. Il curatore Danilo Eccher ha pensato proprio a tutto eh.
- Anzi, il curatore è andato addirittura oltre. Perché l’aspetto più originale e divertente di tutta l’esperienza è che all’inizio si può scegliere di essere scortati nella visita da 5 audioguide diverse: Coco (Chanel), John (Kennedy), Lilli (e il Vagabondo), Amy (Winehouse) e David (Bowie) . E ognuno poi vi descriverà le opere dal proprio punto di vista, con tutta una serie di commenti “extra-didascalici” che vi faranno più che sorridere (e magari desiderare di ricominciare dall’inizio scortati da un’altra voce, per conoscere i diversi punti di vista). Pensata geniale, davvero.
Secondo voi io chi ho scelto per farmi accompagnare tra le opere? Dai che è facile….
E sono anche curiosa di sapere invece chi sceglierete voi. Ci state pensando?
Tranquilli, un po’ di tempo ce l’avete, la mostra sarà aperta fino al 19 febbraio 2017. Take your time.

Fall saturday afternoon: very often it means just exhibition or museum.
It was like that during my last weekend in Rome.
A walk in the city center, a light lunch at the new Biolosophy, an icecream at CamBIO Vita and then ready for the new exhibition at Chiostro del Bramante: LOVE. L’arte contemporanea incontra l’amore.
What should I tell you? I LOVED it.
And I suggest to you to follow my exemple. For at least 4 reasons.
- The artworks exhibited are by themselves beautiful and eye-catching. Starting from the giant blue LOVE by Robert Indiana in the cloister at the entrance and then walking by the hallways among the artworks by Wesselmann, Warhol, Quinn, Vasconcelos and Kusama (just to mention some of the names there), you will be surely hit with pleasure.
- The main theme il love, useless to specify it. And who doesn’t have his own personal opinion about love, whether romantic or cinic? Here you see dozens expressions of love, as every artwrok represents love from a different angle and lends itself, then, to multiple interpretations, according to what is your attitude towards this subject. Stimulus for introspective thoughts as well as confrontation with your partners.
- Dedicated to all the social addicts like me: you can take pictures inside the exhibition, it’s even encouraged to do so and then post images and videos on the web with the hashtag #chiostrolove (I took it literally and you might have had more than a preview of the visit from my Instagram stories). And you should be afraid to finish your mobile phone gigabytes: all the Chiostro del Bramante is covered with public wifi. The curator thought really about everything.
- Well, actually the curator went even further. Because what’s most original and amusing of all the experience is that at the beginning you can choose to be accompanied by one out of 5 different audioguides: Coco (Chanel), John (Kennedy), Lilli (e il Vagabondo), Amy (Winehouse) and David (Bowie) . And each of them will describe the artworks from his/her own point of view, with many “extra-didactic” comments that will make you smile (and maybe wish to start over again with another voice, in order to know the other opinions about love). Simply brilliant, really.
