Da Firenze a Parigi. Fino a Shanghai. Una delle scoperte migliori del mio autunno 2016 è stata sicuramente la collezione di Caftanii Firenze.
Dell’affascinante storia del brand vi hanno parlato (quasi) direttamente le sue stesse fondatrici, Ludovica e Ginevra, nell’intervista che ho pubblicato qualche settimana fa. E un primo capo Caftanii me l’avete visto già indosso tra le strade parigine (non vi sarete mica persi le foto con il cappotto Dakota tartan vero?!).
Ci sono però anche altre due creazioni della collezione Caftanii Firenze di cui mi sono letteralmente innamorata: il Dakota Velvet Kimono e l’Alaska Velvet dress.

Entrambi nello stesso tessuto, 100% velluto di seta bordeaux e oro, talmente bello da sembrare quasi un’opera d’arte e diventare lui stesso unico protagonista assoluto di ogni outfit.
Il mini dress, ad esempio, l’ho indossato per una serata a Parigi, con un semplice paio di jeans neri e stivaletti neri.
Il kimono invece mi ha accompagnato a Shanghai, abbinato a tubino nero e sandali neri.
Dall’Hotel Eugene en Ville parigino all’Hakkasan di Shanghai,si potrebbe dire che le mie velvet nights in compagnia di Caftanii Firenze siano state davvero splendenti.
Roba che per luccicare davanti all’albero di Natale ho già un vago sentore di cosa indossare quest’anno.

From Florence to Paris. Till Shanghai. One of the best discoveries of my fall 2016 is surely the new collection by Caftanii Firenze.
As for the fascinating history of the brand, its owners themselves, Ludovica and Ginevra, told it to you through the interview I posted a few weeks ago. And I showed you my first Caftanii outfit while walking through parisian streets (you didn’t miss my pictures with the Dakota tartan coat, did you?!).
But there are other two creations from Caftanii Firenze collection that I feel deeply in love with: the Dakota Velvet Kimono and the Alaska Velvet dress.
They are both in the same fabric, 100% silk velvet red and gold, and it’s so wonderful that it really seems a work of art and states itself as the one and only protagonist of any outfit.
I wore the mini dress for a night in Paris, with a simple pair of black trousers and black ankle boots.
Instead the kimono came with me to Shanghai and I matched it with little black dress and black sandals.
From the parisian Hotel Eugène en Ville to the Hakkasan restaurant in Shanghai, my velvet nights with Caftanii Firenze were really shining.
I have a vague idea of what I’m going to wear to sparkle in front of the Christmas tree this year. 🙂
